Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa (SAN), has commended the leadership qualities of Senator George Akume and praised Senator Zam for his loyalty and commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Aondoakaa, who is among the APC governorship aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections in Benue State, made the remarks during the “Renewed Hope Sen Zam Cares Empowerment Programme” held in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area.

Speaking at the event, Aondoakaa described Senator George Akume as the “supreme leader of Benue politics,” noting that his experience and influence continue to shape the direction of the APC in the state.
He also applauded Senator Zam for what he termed his loyalty, humility, and purposeful leadership within the party, adding that such qualities are essential for sustaining unity and progress.

The empowerment programme attracted party stakeholders, supporters, and beneficiaries from across the local government area, with a focus on improving livelihoods and strengthening grassroots engagement.

Aondoakaa said, “Senator George Akume remains a pillar in Benue politics whose leadership has continued to guide the party.”
He added, “Senator Zam has demonstrated loyalty, humility, and purposeful leadership, which are key to building a stronger and more united APC in Benue State.”
