The All Progressives Congress has dismissed as false a widely circulated report claiming to reveal the prices of expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
The ruling party said the graphic, which went viral across several media platforms on Friday, did not originate from the party and should be disregarded by the public.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the report as misleading.
“The attention of the APC has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in sections of the media regarding a purported price list for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections,” Morka said.

The viral graphic had alleged that presidential aspirants under the party would be required to pay N200 million for nomination forms, while aspirants for state assembly seats would pay N20 million.

However, the party said no such decision had been taken.
“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections,” Morka stated.

He further described the circulating information as “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.”

The APC urged party members, the media, and the general public to ignore the report, stressing that official announcements regarding party activities would be communicated through its recognised channels.
