The All Progressives Congress (APC) has produced candidates for House of Representatives seats across several federal constituencies in Benue North West (Zone A) and Benue North East (Zone B). The outcomes emerged from party primaries reportedly held across the affected constituencies.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded House of Representatives primaries across parts of Benue State, with candidates emerging for federal constituencies in Zones A and B.

According to results obtained from party sources, candidates emerged in seven federal constituencies covering Benue North West and Benue North East senatorial zones.

The reported outcomes are as follows:

Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency: Regina Akume

Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency: Engr. Ikper

Buruku Federal Constituency: Gideon Inyom

Gwer East/Gwer West Federal Constituency: Terhemba Nongo

Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency: Kohol Iornem

Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency: Solomon Wombo

Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency: Livinus Tsar

The primaries form part of the party’s internal selection process ahead of future legislative elections.

While the results have circulated among party stakeholders and supporters, official consolidated confirmation from APC leadership in Benue State was yet to be publicly released at the time of filing this report.

The development is expected to shape political alignments and campaigns across the affected federal constituencies as preparations continue within the state’s political landscape.
