Benue Links has announced the resumption of transport services on the Makurdi–Oju route after a temporary suspension of operations to Igede communities. The company said services resumed yesterday and provided updated fare information for passengers travelling between Makurdi and Oju.
Benue Links has informed commuters and customers in Igede land that operations on its Makurdi–Oju route have resumed following a temporary suspension of services.
According to the company, transport operations recommenced yesterday, restoring passenger movement between Makurdi and Oju after the earlier disruption.
The transport company also announced the current fare structure for the route as follows:
Makurdi to Oju (Small Bus): ₦5,000
Makurdi to Oju (Big Bus): ₦4,500
Benue Links stated that the same fares apply to passengers travelling from Oju to Makurdi.
In a related development, the company confirmed that the Oju motor park has been moved from its temporary location opposite Bovas Filling Station back to its previous location beside Sam’s Viewing Centre in Umoda, Oju.
The resumption is expected to improve mobility for passengers and residents who rely on the Makurdi–Oju transport corridor.
No further details were provided by the company regarding the earlier suspension of services.
