A tragic road accident reportedly occurred on the Ogiladzi–Abakwa Road at Ofyanghan, Adi-Etulo, Benue State, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday. According to accounts from the area, a Benue Links bus travelling towards Jato-Aka plunged into a stream, leaving one female passenger dead and several others rescued.

Residents and travellers along the Ogiladzi–Abakwa Road in Adi-Etulo, Benue State, have reported a serious road accident involving a Benue Links passenger bus.

The incident reportedly occurred between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Ofyanghan, a section of the road known to motorists in the area. Preliminary information indicates that the bus, which was travelling toward Jato-Aka, plunged into a nearby stream under circumstances that remain unclear.

Local sources said several passengers were rescued from the vehicle following the crash. However, a female passenger was reportedly confirmed dead.

As of the time of this report, the exact number of passengers on board, the identities of the victims, and the cause of the accident have not been officially disclosed.
