The Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi, has opened applications for Resident Doctors under its residency training programme. The vacancies span seven specialties, with qualified medical professionals encouraged to apply within two weeks.
The Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi, has announced vacancies for Resident Doctors as part of its ongoing residency training programme.
In a notice issued by the hospital management, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill positions in Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
According to the advertisement, applicants must possess a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or its equivalent, as well as a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate. Candidates are also required to hold a current practising licence and provide evidence of passing the Primary Examination of a relevant postgraduate medical college.
The hospital stated that successful applicants will be engaged under conditions of service approved by the Federal Government, including the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS), applicable fringe benefits, and a retirement age of 60 years, extendable to 65 years for medical and dental consultants.
Interested candidates are required to submit ten copies of typewritten applications, along with detailed curriculum vitae and photocopies of their credentials. Applications are to be addressed to the Chief Medical Director of BSUTH, Makurdi.
The notice, signed by Cynthia K. Orjime, Director of Administration, on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, indicated that all submissions must be made within two weeks from the date of publication.
