The family of late Adikpe Andrew, popularly known as “AAboki De Junior,” has announced May 25, 2026, as the date for his burial following his death in Lagos State.

Andrew, who hailed from Umapia community in Adum-East Ito, Obi Local Government Area of Benue State, was reportedly attacked at his shawarma business outlet in Sangotedo on May 16.

The burial of late Adikpe Andrew, a young businessman from Benue State who was reportedly killed in Lagos, has been scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026.

Andrew, popularly known as “AAboki De Junior,” hailed from Umapia, Adum-East Ito in Obi Local Government Area of Benue State.

According to accounts shared by associates and community members, the 27-year-old was at his shawarma business outlet in Sangotedo area of Lagos State on May 16, 2026, when unidentified gunmen allegedly attacked him inside the shop.

The incident reportedly occurred during his normal business activities.
His death has attracted attention online and within Benue communities following reports circulated on social media shortly after the incident.

According to sources, the killing gained additional public attention after a report appeared on a platform identified as “Naija Confra,” which reportedly described the incident as cult-related.

However, no official statement confirming the motive behind the killing had been publicly issued as of the time of this report.

Friends and associates of the deceased have called for caution against drawing conclusions based on unverified online narratives, urging that proper investigation be conducted to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities had not publicly released further details regarding the case at press time.

Andrew is expected to be laid to rest on Monday, May 25.
