The family of Mr. Jan Kassam, an Ngas resident of Jos South, is calling on security agencies to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death after he reportedly sustained fatal gunshot wounds in Sabon Gida.

Relatives say Kassam died from injuries caused by gunfire and have appealed for those responsible to be identified and prosecuted.

The family of Mr. Jan Kassam, a resident of Jos South Local Government Area, has called on security agencies to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death following a violent incident in Sabon Gida.

According to family members, Kassam died after sustaining gunshot wounds. An elder brother of the deceased, who identified his body at the morgue, alleged that the injuries appeared severe and suggested the use of a high-powered firearm. However, authorities have not publicly confirmed the type of weapon involved.

The family has appealed to security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation, identify those responsible, and ensure that justice is served.

Community members and local residents have continued to express concern over recurring security challenges in parts of Plateau State and have called for stronger measures to protect lives and property.
