Suspected gunmen have reportedly k!lled a man and his pregnant wife during a fresh attack on Angwan Ishaku community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The incident occurred less than a day after Governor Caleb Mutfwang directed security agencies to strengthen operations against terrorists and criminal elements operating in the state.

According to reports, suspected gunmen invaded the Angwan Ishaku community and k!lled a man alongside his pregnant wife in the latest wave of violence affecting communities in the area.
The attack reportedly happened less than 24 hours after Governor Caleb Mutfwang issued fresh directives to security agencies to intensify operations aimed at flushing out terrorists and armed gangs threatening peace in the state.
The renewed violence has raised questions about the effectiveness of ongoing security measures, especially as several communities in Plateau have continued to experience repeated attacks, killings, and displacement of residents in recent months.
