The campaign team of Benue politician and former Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs, Benjamin Aber Terseer, has published a list of individuals reportedly assisted into employment within the Nigeria Customs Service and other federal agencies.
The statement, issued on Wednesday, said the release followed public questions regarding Aber’s achievements and contributions during his years in public service.
The campaign organisation of Benjamin Aber Terseer has claimed that more than 40 youths from different parts of Benue State secured employment opportunities through his intervention while he served in public office.
According to a statement released on Wednesday by the campaign team, the beneficiaries were drawn from local government areas including Gwer East, Gwer West, Makurdi, Gboko, Buruku, Guma and Tarka.
The team listed several names from Gwer East, including Terzungwe Fabian, Titus Aondohemba, Erdoo Torbunde Anastasia, Felicia Terdoo and Silas Torkuma.
Beneficiaries from Gwer West reportedly include Terlumun Wayo, Tordue Wachin, Dooshima Ayom and Rita Tyofa Sedoo.
The statement further alleged that additional beneficiaries from Makurdi, Gboko, Buruku, Guma and Tarka secured placements in the Nigeria Customs Service and other federal agencies through Aber’s support.
“With this, I hope we have put a rest to ‘what has he done to people in his previous assignment,’” the statement added.
The release comes amid increasing political conversations in Benue State ahead of the 2027 elections, with supporters of emerging political figures highlighting records, community interventions and previous public service contributions.
No independent confirmation from the Nigeria Customs Service or the federal agencies referenced in the statement was immediately available at the time of filing this report.
