MACAHERBAL Table Water, a packaged drinking water producer based in Gboko, Benue State, has announced that it successfully passed a compliance inspection conducted by officials of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

According to the company, the assessment formed part of NAFDAC's routine regulatory oversight aimed at ensuring that packaged drinking water producers comply with established safety and manufacturing standards.

MACAHERBAL Table Water has announced the successful completion of a regulatory inspection conducted by officials of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) at its production facility in Gboko, Benue State.

The company's founder, Marcel Allahaji, disclosed that NAFDAC officials recently visited the facility to evaluate its compliance with operational and manufacturing requirements applicable to packaged drinking water production.

According to the company, the inspection was part of NAFDAC's ongoing efforts to safeguard public health by ensuring that water producers adhere to approved standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Regulatory inspections of water production facilities typically assess key areas including hygiene and sanitation procedures, water treatment processes, packaging operations, storage conditions, equipment maintenance, and overall compliance with safety regulations.

Following the inspection, MACAHERBAL Table Water stated that it successfully met the agency's requirements.
