According to reports, the incident occurred at the Angwan Yelwa pitch, where Eneramo was introduced in the second half of the game. Witnesses said he suddenly slumped on the field without any contact from other players, raising immediate concern among teammates and spectators.
Efforts were reportedly made to revive him at the scene before he was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Eneramo enjoyed a notable football career, playing for several clubs, including Beşiktaş, Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Lobi Stars. He made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2009 and scored in one of his early appearances against the Republic of Ireland.
