President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved N2 billion in relief support for victims of the March 29 attack in Angwa Rukuban, Jos. The approval came after a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday. Key political, traditional, and religious leaders from Plateau State were in attendance.

According to details from the engagement, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang was present, alongside the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda. Former governors of the state, including Simon Lalong, Jonah Jang, Joshua Dariye, and Fidelis Tapgun, also attended.

The meeting further drew participation from traditional rulers and religious leaders, including HRM Mohammed Haruna, Emir of Wase, and Rev. Dr. Dunka Gomwalk, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Plateau State. Other attendees included senior political figures and former public office holders.

The N2 billion relief support, as confirmed after the meeting, is aimed at assisting victims affected by the March 29 incident in Angwa Rukuban. No further details on the disbursement process were immediately disclosed.
