A graduate of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi, Margaret Idoko, has emerged with a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, earning commendation from members of the academic community.

Idoko, who hails from Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, achieved the feat at the institution formerly known as Benue State University.

According to sources within the university, the achievement reflects years of dedication and academic excellence throughout her undergraduate studies.

Family members and well-wishers described her success as a moment of pride for both her community and the state. An eyewitness at a small celebratory gathering in Makurdi said Idoko’s accomplishment has inspired many young students in the area to pursue higher academic goals.

Speaking during the celebration, a relative praised her determination and discipline, noting that the first-class honour demonstrates the potential of students from rural communities when given the opportunity to succeed.

Observers say her achievement adds to the growing number of outstanding graduates emerging from the Makurdi-based institution.
