Hon. Jonathan Modi, Chairman of Ukum Local Government Area in Benue State, has presented a N1 million induction gift to Dr. Gwaza Shovihkah following his induction into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. The gesture has been welcomed by members of the community as a show of support for educational achievement and professional excellence.

The Chairman of Ukum Local Government Area, Hon. Jonathan Modi, has gifted N1 million to Dr. Gwaza Shovihkah, an indigene of the area, following his successful induction into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

Dr. Shovihkah was formally inducted on June 30, 2026, marking the completion of his medical training and qualification to practise medicine in Nigeria.

The financial gift was presented on the same day as his induction in recognition of his perseverance, dedication, and academic accomplishment.

Acknowledging the gesture in a Facebook post, Dr. Shovihkah wrote:
"Thank you Hon. Jonathan Modi, chairman of Ukum local government (the capacity chairman). 1 million naira induction gift well received. May God bless you richly sir."

The post serves as the primary public confirmation of the presentation. Benue Info-pedia has not independently verified additional details surrounding the presentation beyond the public acknowledgment.

Residents and well-wishers have commended the chairman's support, describing it as an encouragement to students and young professionals striving for excellence. Supporters say such recognition could motivate more young people in Ukum and beyond to pursue careers in medicine and other critical professions.
