The Benue State Government has officially launched the inaugural phase of its International Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment Programme, with selected youths currently undergoing intensive vocational training in Belarus.
The programme, according to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, is part of the administration’s broader effort to equip young people with globally relevant entrepreneurial and technical skills.

The governor further indicated plans to expand the programme to include agricultural and automotive training sectors in future phases, underscoring the administration’s interest in sustainable skills development and international collaboration.
According to the statement, discussions are already underway between the Benue State Government and the institute to broaden the partnership across additional Centres of Excellence within the Belarusian institution.
