The medical community in Benue State is mourning the loss of Dr. Tyoor Cedric Kondom, a recent graduate of Medicine and Surgery from Benue State University, who died shortly before his scheduled induction as a medical doctor.

According to the statement, Dr. Kondom passed away on June 18, 2026, after successfully completing the demanding requirements of medical training. He was reportedly just days away from formally joining the medical profession through induction.

One tribute noted that after spending approximately ten years studying Medicine and serving at General Hospital Gboko, Dr. Kondom was only days away from induction when he died unexpectedly.
